Garnet Scarab Pendant

Carved by a master: A deep red garnet scarab. It was hand-fashioned in Australia by a master gemstone carver, and we set it into a streamlined bezel with an open back to allow light to penetrate this captivating stone. Garnets are said to stimulate the heart and blood. They are the birthstone of January.

Made completely by hand in recycled 18k and 22k gold, this is truly a one of a kind charm. It has a looped oval bale that will fit most chains. Sold separately from a chain.

Taking Care

Fine jewelry should be treated with care. It is best practice to remove jewelry when coming home, and to put it back on when leaving the house. This can lengthen the life of a piece dramatically, and can lessen the chances of damaging an item.

To clean at home we recommend scrubbing them with a soft toothbrush and warm, soapy water.

Opals have a hardness of 6.
