Australian Opal Pendant
A very special Australian boulder opal. Layers of pink, green, and blue swirl together in this magical stone. It is a semi-translucent stone with a surface wash of opacity.
Opals were once said to provide a cloak of invisibility if wrapped in a bay leaf and held in the hand. They are known as a stone that brings luck to the wearer. They are the October birthstone.
Made completely by hand in recycled 18k and 22k gold, this is truly a one of a kind piece. Hundreds of hammer blows formed a special domed back, which has been polished with a satin finish. It has a looped oval bale that will fit most chains. Pictured here on our Petite Needle Eye Chain, which is sold separately.

Taking Care
Fine jewelry should be treated with care. It is best practice to remove jewelry when coming home, and to put it back on when leaving the house. This can lengthen the life of a piece dramatically, and can lessen the chances of damaging an item.
