Opalescent portals. These specialty cut diamonds have been polished into flat-backed asschers, so that the step cuts can be enjoyed from the frong view. On the back, a little cross detail that mimics the surface of the table. The backs of these settings are open to allow the stone to collect more light and for easy cleaning.
One of a kind. Made completely by hand in our San Francisco studio. The clasp is a post and ear nut.

Taking Care
Fine jewelry should be treated with care. It is best practice to remove jewelry when coming home, and to put it back on when leaving the house. This can lengthen the life of a piece dramatically, and can lessen the chances of damaging an item.
Diamonds
Translucent stones with closed backings should not be submerged in water, and should not come into contact with lotions, oils, or creams. Clear diamonds are especially susceptible to this because of their beautiful translucency and subtle marbling. To clean we recommend a dry, soft toothbrush.
Diamonds have a hardness of 10.
