Antique Rose Cut Solitaire
A true antique. One of the first known types of faceting, rose cuts are reminiscent of vintage jewelry, and this stone is the ultimate example. Over 100 years old, it was removed from its original setting and we built this custom ring around it. This diamond is in a recessed setting that we built to its exact specifications, completely by hand. It's held in place with 6 perfectly positioned prongs, highlighting the stone's unique off-round shape and lovely faceting. It is truly one of a kind. Its color skews pink.
Open-backed in a customized six prong-setting, it is perched on a light weight, tapered band that is weighted at the bottom and perfect for stacking.
