Pink Drop Earrings

$4,400

Bright, peony pink. This petite pair combines faceted pink sapphires with perfectly polished tourmaline, a combination that punches above its weight. Lightweight and striking, they are the perfect choice for both everyday and occasion wear.

These tourmaline were mined in California, at the Stewart Mine near San Diego.

Sapphire is a symbol faithfulness and sincerity; it is the September birthstone. Grounding, healing, and protective, tourmaline is the birthstone for October.

One of a kind. Made completely by hand, this gorgeous pair of polished pink tourmaline briolettes move independently below fanned pink marquis cut sapphires, set in prongs.  The clasp is a post and ear nut.

Taking Care

Fine jewelry should be treated with care. It is best practice to remove jewelry when coming home, and to put it back on when leaving the house. This can lengthen the life of a piece dramatically, and can lessen the chances of damaging an item.

Diamond Slices

Diamond slices can be particularly delicate, especially in rings; be sure not to put pressure directly on the surface of the stone. Translucent stones with closed backings should not be submerged in water, and should not come into contact with lotions, oils, or creams. Clear diamond slices are especially susceptible to this because of their beautiful translucency and subtle marbling. To clean we recommend a dry, soft toothbrush.

Diamond slices have a hardness of 10.
