Toffee Rose Drop Earrings

$3,800

Cappuccino color. You know we love a second cap, and these are just the ticket. Perfectly polished smokey quartz briolettes from Brazil swing beneath faceted mauve sapphires. Lightweight and striking, they are the perfect choice for both everyday and occasion wear.

Sapphire is a symbol faithfulness and sincerity; it is the September birthstone. Smoky quartz is the national stone of Scotland, and was used by the Druids to expand their connection to the spiritual realm and to nature.

One of a kind. Made completely by hand, this gorgeous pair of polished smokey quartz briolettes move independently below fanned marquis cut sapphires, set in prongs. The clasp is a post and ear nut.

Taking Care

Fine jewelry should be treated with care. It is best practice to remove jewelry when coming home, and to put it back on when leaving the house. This can lengthen the life of a piece dramatically, and can lessen the chances of damaging an item.

Diamond Slices

Diamond slices can be particularly delicate, especially in rings; be sure not to put pressure directly on the surface of the stone. Translucent stones with closed backings should not be submerged in water, and should not come into contact with lotions, oils, or creams. Clear diamond slices are especially susceptible to this because of their beautiful translucency and subtle marbling. To clean we recommend a dry, soft toothbrush.

Diamond slices have a hardness of 10.
