Lantern Necklace - Emerald
Glowing, romantic, minty green emeralds. Graduated emeralds are suspended on our most iconic handmade chain, the Needle Eye. 12 graduated size emeralds are fixed between the links, with an emerald cut center piece set north-south in a handmade prong setting.
These rare emeralds are natural and fair mined: They have been responsibly mined near Lake Manyara by villagers of nearby Mayoka village who are guaranteed salary, and faceted by fairly paid lapidaries who put pride in their work. The rare color of these hand-selected emeralds is particular to this special mine.
Completely one of a kind. Made from recycled 18k yellow gold, the chain is secured with our signature necklace clasp and hand-engraved hallmark tag. Each link is made individually and is always formed completely by hand. 18 inches long, with a conversion loop to wear also at 16 inches.
