SEEKING BENCH ASSISTANT

We are a private studio located in Noe Valley. Looking for someone to join our team 2-3 days per week with the opportunity for more days. We offer competitive wages and paid sick leave; hourly rate dependent on experience. A car is required as there are occasional errands to be run, but our area offers plenty of street parking. Must love dogs, as our studio has Golden Retriever.

We operate under specific security protocols, including 24 hour recorded video, and a background check will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least one year of bench experience is requested, as basic skills are required.
  • Interest and passion in a product that supports social and environmental responsibility, and quality craftsmanship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently manage bench related tasks in an organized and timely manner.
  • Running occasional errands such as FedEx drops and local deliveries.

Classically trained in both goldsmithing and fine art, Tura Sugden has a unique approach to fine jewelry design and a traditionally rooted execution. Having completed seven years of apprenticeships she now operates a modern atelier, melding old world goldsmithing with a contemporary point of view.
