Taking Care

Fine jewelry should be treated with care. It is best practice to remove jewelry when coming home, and to put it back on when leaving the house. This can lengthen the life of a piece dramatically, and can lessen the chances of damaging an item.

Rubies

Rubies can be professionally steam cleaned. To clean at home we recommend scrubbing them with a soft toothbrush and warm, soapy water.

Rubies have a hardness of 9.
