A tiny and sweet retreat from our usual charm offerings. We don't typically make heart motifs but this year it feels right to celebrate love with something special. The heart shape that we know today may have originally been an interpretation of Aristotle's anatomical writings, in which he described three chambers with a dent in the center. He named the heart as the first organ to form in a developing embryo, and penned that it is the seat of intelligence, motion, and sensation.
This is an effortless, dainty charm that can be easily added to a necklace you already own. Or might we suggest pairing it with the petite Needle Eye Chain (pictured). It is completely hand-fabricated in our San Francisco studio using recycled metals.

* We use a unique alloy of 18k white gold, which is naturally hypoallergenic and doesn’t require rhodium plating. This allows us to avoid the use of harsh plating chemicals in the studio and lessens our carbon footprint. The color of palladium white gold is close to gunmetal. If you’re searching for a very white colored metal, we suggest our platinum option.
